v. 19 “owing your very self”

            This at first sounds like Paul is using the fact that it was through him that Philemon became a believer to use Philemon for monetary gain.  But this is not the case as Paul is offering to pay for any debts incurred by Onesimus.  By putting it this way, Paul reminds Philemon of the grace that he has been given so freely and that he himself has an opportunity to give back freely.
